Our proposal

First, we’d like to thank you for choosing

After carefully considering your case, we have a clear picture of the mobile app that your business idea needs, including the design, features, usability ideas and, of course, the investment to be made.

Your app is an investment. It will be your way of communicating with your customers, so you can see and understand what they do, interact with them in real time, give them ideas and, above all, always stay in touch with them.

Therefore, we have carefully designed this financial proposal to help your company achieve the success it deserves.

Are you ready?

What is the app for?

This app’s purpose is to connect people and restaurants so as not to waste leftover food, helping to reduce food loss and waste while creating a more collaborative and just economy.

This initial idea can be expanded into a series of services, from last-minute offers (sale of surpluses) to CSR (connecting with NGOs), or even to attract sustainability-minded people to certain restaurants.

It sounds like business, and it is. But obviously we can’t stop thinking about how much we love the idea you shared with us, and we want to see it brought to life.

What we’ll do

This project therefore aims to develop an app that achieves the following:

  1. Distinguishes us and positions us as a benchmark against potential competitors, direct and indirect.

  2. Being scalable, allowing large volumes of requests, as well as an increase in suppliers.

  3. Uses state-of-the-art technology that meets the standards required by ACME Corp.... without being so advanced that it can’t be used. We want the experience to be optimal, regardless of the device used by the potential restaurant customer.

  4. And obviously, it needs tracking tools. That way, you’ll always know what’s going on at your company and how customers and restaurants are using it. This will help you make the right decisions.

Table of contents

At we propose a project with the following characteristics:

Required features

Based on the requirements defined by ACME Corp. and specifically by Jane, the app’s features will be divided into the following seven categories:

  1. Order placement and booking management features for individuals.
  2. Order receipt and administrative features for restaurants.
  3. Payment gateway configuration.
  4. Order tracking.
  5. CMS to manage app content.
  6. Implementation of statistical monitoring tools (we are partners of Analytics, Fabric and Mixpanel, among others).
  7. Any other specific requirements indicated by ACME Corp..

Technology we’ll use

The application will be developed natively for both Android and iOS, with the possibility of generating a PWA for desktop computers.

Our minimum system requirements are:

  • iOS 9 or higher
  • Android 5.1 or higher

For technical and, above all, security reasons, we cannot support previous versions of these operating systems. Yes, it could be done through the proposed PWA for desktop, but certain work streams have yet to be explored.

Phases and validations

Our way of working is based on SCRUM methodology, which provides enough flexibility to incorporate changes regardless of the phase that the project is in.

The phases we propose will coincide with the implementation of each of the app’s critical features. After each stage, we’ll test and evaluate the feature before it is tested by you. Once that phase is approved by the client, we’ll proceed to the next one.

This way of working allows us to develop the app agilely, reducing the margin for error. And certain design changes can even be incorporated if necessary.

Project phases

Here is our proposed schedule for your project:

 Start of project2 weeks
 Wireframe/Design7 weeks
 Development9 weeks
 Test and debug4 weeks

The duration of these phases is approximate and subject to modifications, especially if there are structural design changes, or critical changes in some version of the operating system that affect the management of resources on the phones (memory, storage, etc.).
